Second time is the charm...

Friends do a heart good

I am totally blessed to have some dear friends here in Nashville...and you know -- I didn't even know them this time last year. That amazes me...God is so good. Last summer, I realized that some of my "lack of balance" in my life was due to the fact that I had not found good, solid girlfriends after my move here two years earlier. I began to pray about it -- and looked around for places I could meet some good women friends. I went to a couple of book clubs, a "Women in Management" group and even attended a bible study. It got me outside my box...and away from typical halloween colors.

Currently, I am not having much of ANY experience with it. *laugh* Job-wise I have been editing a 300+ page document -- and that has been both challenging and tedious (challenging to make it say what it needs to say and tedious because I also have to format the document for printing and it is in pretty sad shape). To get a little peace and quiet to work in, I have been heading over to the Mt. Juliet Public library in the mornings and to Panera Bread in the afternoons to get internet service and NOT be in the office. Yesterday I saw one of the most hysterical exchanges while I was at the libra...
