A Bit Behind....


in putting my finished pages into albums. I even have the albums...and the protector pages...it is just that I haven't sat down to do it -- and the pile just keeps growing and growing...and GROWING! These are pages I have finished since the first of June...so about five months worth...any guesses on how many?
Shall we make it interesting? Post the number of pages you think I have stacked up here -- and I will send a RAK to the person who gets the closest. If two or more of you guess the correct amount -- I will do a little drawing to see who gets the prize.
I should have taken the picture with the ruler in it -- for reference...but I forgot -- so I will tell you (for those of you that are mathmatically minded) that this pile is about 10.25 inches high.
Good guessing. I will give you a week to make your calculations. Next Thursday, November 6th, I will post the winner.

    LOL I have way more than you, at least 3 times that stack.... LOL I'm a BIG procrastinator when it comes to that last item in scrapbooking. I was so suprised when I finished my Book About Me Album and stuck all the pages where they belonged. I would guess 39, even though I missed the deadline.

Under His Wings

 Everyone needs a safe place to go when they are afraid or in danger. Growing up in Texas, we learned at a young age that when the tornado siren went off, you stopped and headed to the inner most room of the house with no windows. If you were quick about it, you could also bring a pillow and a stuffed animal for comfort. The whole family would huddle until the storm had passed. That's not bad advice...for earthly storms...but hiding in a closet when you're facing life's trials doesn't real help much! I love the picture of God's covering and protection that we find in Psalm 91. It says He will cover us with His wings (or feathers) like a Mama chicken takes care of her chicks! When danger comes...all her brood hustle to get under her wings because she will protect them with her life. There is no safer place...in life, than under the protection of our Mighty God!
