Ok...I had to keep playing with Jenni's kit...and then remembered the one little word challenge going on...so I decided to try and combine both...here is what I ended up with.
Don't we as adults want time to slow down -- but when we were kids we couldn't wait for the hands to spin on the clock so we would be OLDER!?!?!?! What was up with that...boy talk about 20/20 hindsight! *smile*
{{{OH JANN}}} This is one of my very favorite layouts ever! It's gorgeous!
I was going to say that I couldn't even possibly enter the OLW challenge now. BUT then I remembered this is not a contest (even though there are prizes) but a challenge! Two completely different things. So I will try to do a STOP layout too, just for the challenge.
Is the clock over the picture a transparancy thingie or a stamp? At first I was thinking it was a stamp and how cool it was for you to be able to stamp right on the picture.
Helloooo! Loved seeing you at Jenni's this week. It felt like old times getting together with all the gals from Scrap It. I'm going to check out this challenge blog you mentioned -- Annie mentioned it too on a layout on her blog. It might be a good excuse to play with some of my new scrapbook goodies I've been hoarding. See you soon!
This question was followed by the whispered question, "Don't you think that makes God mad? It's HIS WORD!" Yes...let me introduce myself. Hi, I'm Jann and I am a Bible Journal-er! Since you have seen me draw on just about anything...you are probably not as surprised as my friend with whom I had this conversation. And just to be clear, I'm not poking fun at her - I think that I have had that exact same conversation with myself over the years of my personal study...because even though I have recently started painting in my Bible - I have written my heart out in the margins of many Bibles as I have dug into God's Word to learn everything that He has wanted to teach me. And I have often drawn small images to remind myself of a principle -- like the one I drew here at the end of the book of Genesis! Rabbit Trail : I felt that it ends rather abruptly - after we have studied all the things that happened to Joseph over the course of his life the final sente...
Hey friends... Well the time has come to do more than just dip my toes in the water...I'm gonna actually start filming YouTube tutorials again...and I decided to go for a big project rather than something that wouldn't challenge me to go the distance. I am going to show you how to put together an Easter Junk Journal from start to finish! Oh yeah...I didn't decide to just show you how to make a tag...we are bringing out the big guns! 😁😁😁 Since it has been a while -- I will give you the link to my YouTube Channel . You will find the series in a playlist called Easter 2023...and it will be the newest video uploaded....on Saturday! I've created an Easter Printable collection -- with five journaling pages, three background pages and two ephemera sheets.....and when you go to Kofi Shop -- you will find some other freebies there for you to download as well....2 more Easter pages that coordinate with the collection. I am telling you about it now -- so that if you want to ...
Everyone needs a safe place to go when they are afraid or in danger. Growing up in Texas, we learned at a young age that when the tornado siren went off, you stopped and headed to the inner most room of the house with no windows. If you were quick about it, you could also bring a pillow and a stuffed animal for comfort. The whole family would huddle until the storm had passed. That's not bad advice...for earthly storms...but hiding in a closet when you're facing life's trials doesn't real help much! I love the picture of God's covering and protection that we find in Psalm 91. It says He will cover us with His wings (or feathers) like a Mama chicken takes care of her chicks! When danger comes...all her brood hustle to get under her wings because she will protect them with her life. There is no safer place...in life, than under the protection of our Mighty God! I created this card and Bible page with the @sweetnsassystamps set called "Under His Wings." It i...

ReplyDeleteI remember being little and so wanting to be the next age.

I chuckled when I saw that you changed your profile pic.
