Well...I am making progress on the studio...and decided to take another little break to share one of my all time favorite techniques...STIPPLE DISTRESS.
Thanks for giving this tutorial. Breaking it down into little steps as you have done makes this awesome technique look easy. Thanks for the light and shadow demonstration also. Fantastic technique and the results are stunning.
Sure wish I were home to make some cards for your friend's fellow soldiers. Sad to think of some of the guys and gals not getting mail from home. Thank you for offering this. I will be part of it when I do get home.
Happy to hear your cleaning and purging is making you happy now. The evidence of all your hard work is showing itself.
I found you only yesterday and I have learned so much from your videos. You are so kind/generous to take the time to show us your techniques and share your love of crafts.
This question was followed by the whispered question, "Don't you think that makes God mad? It's HIS WORD!" Yes...let me introduce myself. Hi, I'm Jann and I am a Bible Journal-er! Since you have seen me draw on just about anything...you are probably not as surprised as my friend with whom I had this conversation. And just to be clear, I'm not poking fun at her - I think that I have had that exact same conversation with myself over the years of my personal study...because even though I have recently started painting in my Bible - I have written my heart out in the margins of many Bibles as I have dug into God's Word to learn everything that He has wanted to teach me. And I have often drawn small images to remind myself of a principle -- like the one I drew here at the end of the book of Genesis! Rabbit Trail : I felt that it ends rather abruptly - after we have studied all the things that happened to Joseph over the course of his life the final sente
Hey friends... Well the time has come to do more than just dip my toes in the water...I'm gonna actually start filming YouTube tutorials again...and I decided to go for a big project rather than something that wouldn't challenge me to go the distance. I am going to show you how to put together an Easter Junk Journal from start to finish! Oh yeah...I didn't decide to just show you how to make a tag...we are bringing out the big guns! 😁😁😁 Since it has been a while -- I will give you the link to my YouTube Channel . You will find the series in a playlist called Easter 2023...and it will be the newest video uploaded....on Saturday! I've created an Easter Printable collection -- with five journaling pages, three background pages and two ephemera sheets.....and when you go to Kofi Shop -- you will find some other freebies there for you to download as well....2 more Easter pages that coordinate with the collection. I am telling you about it now -- so that if you want to
As many of you know -- I have started a small business to continue sharing beautiful content with you. I am thrilled that the Lord continues to let me be creative and is showing me ways to do so in spite of being diagnosed with Parkinson's. I am not alone in facing challenges -- and I want to be a source of encouragement for those of you that find yourself in a different season of life -- maybe with some physical challenges -- or just the process of not being as young as we once were....that is the natural progression of things...and I am convinced that God intends for us to continue to be His image bearers via our creativity -- regardless of our season of life. So many of you have encouraged me with your support...and I am loving creating printable digitals that you can use in your crafting -- whether that is card making, Bible Journaling, Junk Journaling or scrapbooking. I will have some new collections coming out soon...but I couldn't resist giving you a sneak peek...and a
I love your warm and sharing heart.
